MOT time

At the last minute, well thats me, I have decide to get new rubber for the shovel

Using the chain lift to get it off the ground makes it easy

Dirty mags

Open up Dirty to find its the last of only four, great mag, the cost of paper up 40% means it anit fun any more so they've called it a day. The next page shows an OK supreme, which is my favourite of this year, ridden by Odgie, who had the same problem with AWOL. Odgie is sporting a trial master like the one that fell out of my roof the other night and was found laying on the shed floor

Repair

More mot work on the shovel, this time I had to repair the led light, first cut it open with a hot blade and then solder the broke track on the pcb, a bit of silicon and its all done, only to find that the earth wire is broke. Then fix up the mot number plate, another job done.

Off we go to PC world to get an another docking station and DAB, so I'm letting the guy think he is selling me one, lets hear it I say and pull my classic out of my pocket plug it in ERROR message, strange we say, pull it out and its red hot, thats not good, plug into a PC I say, off he goes, ten minutes later he's back, you need to update your firm ware, No I dont think so, off he goes again, and reappears with the the manager, " If you want to take this further you will need to make a claim" I look at the manager he repeats the sentence. Now I guess the battery or the hard drive are dead, the classic is best part of 6 years old and has had a rough life. I pause for what seems like a life time. Now I have a couple of choices, number one have a rant at PC world, for what? they didnt break it, number two give the guy a some advice how thats not very good customer relationships assuming that I want to make a claim, why should I educate these people. I take my ipod and walk away, without a word. I leave smiling in the knowledge that the world has good to shit but I'm still sane. Oh yeah had a epic ride on the shovel an saw this VW.

Front brake pads arrive today they look right but not had an opportunity to offer them up, the Mrs had some old friends round this afternoon and spent of the time laughing, its good for the skin so they say, laughing that is. I spent a a few hours chasing down the right pads, want I needed was an app for that. I've spent the evening looking at peonies in the garden

MOT time

99 problems and the blogs just one the MOT the other 98 I dont like mot time it means I have to put all the legal stuff back on, which I keep in a box, with the exception of bulbs and brake pads, in the year since the last mot I have discovered there is a real lack of local bike shops to supply me with bits, I cant get anything I need, its all net based now which means I'm waiting for parts to arrive, then I find that the dip switch for high/low is busted and all my electrical gear is at the loveless shed, sort that out to find the the bulbs I have been sent are the wrong ones, well bollocks, my shed is upside down looking for bits and I'm tits off, the shirt I've ordered is coming from the states and there are no decent bands to go and see, still cant complain too much the weathers cracking and I've been riding ever day or night sometimes both, the shovel is looking a bit ratty so there is a bit more work than I expected, I reckon I've done 6 months riding in the last 8 weeks, I need a steel rear guard to put my gear on, which is also half done, still another week before the mots due..........at least I'm riding JUST
