Seat mods

I went for a Knight style seat from Steve and Redmax, top guy couldnt have been more helpful, we talked over the dimensions and decided that it might fit straight to the frame, but then again..well it didnt no problem, three cuts later and chris had it fitting the wide part of the frame. We then bonded an little ally plate to hold it in place, next steps to cut and shut the sides and then cut and shut to flatten it out. Wait and see how it goes. We didnt get much further tonight as we had a lovesless toad moment from the bonding fumes. Moral of the session dont be afraid of modifying parts and keep at least two eyes on the croaking toad.

"Damn that Pareto guy and his damned 80-20 rule. You know the one that states that "80 percent of a company's revenue comes from 20 percent of its products" or "80 percent of all speeding violations are committed by 20 percent of the drivers" etc, etc. In my case it's: "80 percent of the build time is taken up by 20 percent of the components". Make that "stupid small stuff that I hadn't expected to be such a hassle".

A20_M25_A5_home

Returning from Kent early 90's riding the bonnie I love that bike, never let me down, well a part from when the clutch exploded as when rode away from pauls and may be when the clutch over heated on the Notts MAG run or when the head light bolt rattled out on the A5, or the rear light fell off and got run over by a lorry on the M25 or when I looked behind me before I pulled out to over take and the lens came out my glasses. I bought it for £700 in May rebuilt it and rode it to Kent in the July...still in the family.

A few years later after I'd been bumped on the bonnie I bought a bm as a get me by, still got one to this day. Me and Wheeler Kent seaside.

Understated BM

Most people would never think about chopping a BM, I use the word chopping literally as in cutting not as in painting a harley soft tail. Chopped forks, chopped flat tanl style tank chop chop chop, this bike is just mint
