Alternative Way of life

Me and Tim had this conversation about Iron Horse its effect on our way of life it didnt alter the way we were, it realised that we were not alone, 15 odd years ago AWOL was there, and in the words of issue one .........because...the sheer enjoyment of riding them, building them..living with them day in day out. We get wet when it rains..push them when they break.. and skin our knuckles working on them.

Beer fest

Been to the Derby Beer fest tonight with Mrs A what a great time we got a chance to catch up with each other, drinking 1/3rd pints of real beer, 1/2's are to much when you're tasting, bumped into some old friends from 30 years ago when we were in the 6th form. chatting away like we had just come out of double maths. While driving home saw a sign on the old police station, under development for new office blocks, who are they for? times are changing, lets get back to dirty hands, engineering rules!
