Wednesday Club Day out

So the wednesday family outing to Newark jumble, Welding boy, Dr Gearhead, Fecking Gordie and me. When I was running triumphs in the 80s there were jumbles every weekend and you didnt have to travel far to get what you wanted, all good second hand parts. If you wanted new you went to Wilemans. These days there is lots of junk and sunday market stuff. I picked up a few bits which covered the entrance fee

I spotted the matchy and knew straight way whos it was, and sure enough we bumped it to Chris and Carl, and spent a good half hour catching up, top guys. Just after we saw the two PB stars, I had my copy to get it signed, but Tim_Dog was too focused on buying stainless bolts, may be another time.

Dr Gearhead looking over a period perfect speed twin, didnt ask the price, but it was all there and running, nice buy for someone, I'd have to run it as found or may be a little bit of Mr hacksaw!

Gear Head

I sold and the BMW to Damon the Gear Head and this is what he's doing with it, I'm really glad that it's gone to someone who has cut it up!

Here we are again third night trying to get the Miller cycle started, so called after Les Miller and its about as stubborn as Les was !
The thinking now is that the carb air ways are blocked with a bit of shit which is drifting around, now because the air ways are drilled and plugged it very difficult to get it out. So we are first trying carb cleaner then Ultrasonic

More Bracken Rocks

Tiger cub giving large on the second to last section

The Panther looked to be too heavy over the rocks but managed them just fine, I don't know my Panthers but looks like a 50's 250cc? gear this up and you'd be in the points and Red Marley

Midlands Trials

We try to get the New day trials every year, this year there was a massive turn out of riders and some new bikes, see the little red framed Triumph, from just the front end you could be mistaken into thinking it was a rigid. It was a beauty, looks like a custom made frame, its not a Faber because of the separate oil tank, the petrol tank is a work of art. I didn't get chance to speak with the rider, its not that they aren't approachable, but when they riding the stages they are so focused you don't want to tap them on the shoulder.
